NetNewsWire
NetNewsWire is an RSS reader for iPhone — you can read news from the millions of weblogs and sites that publish RSS feeds.
Because NetNewsWire syncs with all of NewsGator’s free RSS readers, if you read an item on your iPhone, you don’t have to read it again on your Macintosh or other computer. It’s automatically marked as read everywhere.
You can also save items for later via the Clippings feature, and any item you clip is available on your other computers. It’s an easy way to save something to read when you have more time.

I switched from Shrook, which i still use on my desktop. I set up a google reader account that is streamlined. So far I'm pretty pleased.
I switched to Reeder and never looked back.
v2 crashes over and over. unusable.
No longer syncs unless you have a Google Reader account. Looking for something else.
the only app that let's me have feeds on Mac and iPhone in sync. Great work!
No integrated browser => fail!
The desktop version of NNW is beautifully crafted while this iPhone version of the app is negligently designed and ugly.
—No landscape mode;
—Information scrambled in a totally botched folder structure;
—No access to clippings;
—No flagging nor access to flagged items.
It is a rudimentary, inferior product, but the only one — in my knowledge — that has a desktop version (and an impeccable one) with which it can synchronize.
NewsGator Online for iPhone was my gateway drug to RSS frenzy, and I was highly anticipating the native NNW app. And while Brent Simmons is doing a kickass job of revving his app, it's still got a few fundamental flaws (for me, at least):
1. Any reading-intensive app simply MUST have a landscape mode. You're just not tapping into the strengths of the device if your text-heavy app doesn't work with the accelerometer.
2. The "location" setting should, by default, use the same profile that you've got defined for NewsGator Online. Setting up a new one by default just introduces confusion. It's good to have the choice to do it on your own, but it's bad to make the disconnect happen by default. Also, I shouldn't have to type in the name of my Location profile. Error-prone. Make it a Select element.
3. There's got to be a better flow from Feed List --> Article List --> Expanded Article. Currently, there are too many taps to go from an expanded item back to the article list, and without a "Mark as Unread" button, you risk losing the article you were just looking at (I know he's currently working on the "Mark Unread" button). I just think NewsGator Online for iPhone really got it right: put brief synopses in the article list, and allow the user to expand the items right in that view. There should only be three views: Feed List, Article List, and WebKit View, all three of which should allow landscape mode.
Gripes aside, this app only has one real competitor: NewsGator Online. But, since that won't cache your stuff for offline viewing, NNW has a leg up in that regard. I have no doubt that it'll continue to improve, given Brent's stellar track record for attention to detail.
I moved my feeds to newsgator from Bloglines for this sole reason. A++
The newest version is much better, and much faster, than the first release.
