This limitation is unavoidable; we're not given the actual letter count per word, we just look at the number of letters in the answer. Glad you like the app! Please email us if you have any suggestions or requests.
I can't believe I forked out my hard-earned $9.99 for this, but I'm so glad I did! This is one heck of an application, with a huge amount of puzzles to download and play, and it's designed very nicely too. My only quibble is some of the clues don't always tell you how many words are in the answer so it says things like "De Niro & Hoffman comedy from 1997 (9)" instead of "De Niro & Hoffman comedy from 1997 (3,3,3)"
