Byline went through a rough patch around when it had the wooden skin, but is now cleaned up, stable & fast.
I much prefer Byline to NNW.
The only thing I would like to see added are "send to" features from Google - but in offline mode. NNW offers "send to", but only when you have an internet connection! Which is completely useless for those of us who use these products to read feeds while offline, whether iPod or iPhone.

Byline on my iphone and NNW on my mac and Google Reader for my RSS management is a great combination.

this app is very nice and fast, the offline usage is superb! it improved quite a lot in the last versions!

To my mind the RSS-App with the most beautiful design - the interface feels wonderful.

However I am no friend of the Google Reader and as long as no OPML-Import or at leas just adding feeds via URL (without Google Reader) is supported, I won't use it.

I have installed version 2.0.1 today. Beside the slightly strange "wooden" skin, which you can not change, I am pretty amazed by this app. Especially in comparison to "Gazette", another google-syncing rss-reader, it is syncs like a breeze. If there where some "roughness issues" in the past then I have not found them until now.

PS: Not a native speaker - I am sorry if punctuation or wording seems funny...

The app itself is still a little rough, but the underlying concept of Google Reader syncing and offline browsing make this the best RSS reader out right now. The developer seems to listen to user feedback and continuously make improvements, so I have high hopes for future versions.
